The “Casa Central” of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile was chosen to receive the attendees of ISA 16. Its workshops and talks will be held at the facilities of Centro de Extensión UC, a place that is known for the knowledge and cultural exchange in the middle of Santiago downtown.
A few blocks from Plaza Italia, the Centro de Extensión has large rooms, auditoriums, a movie theater, bookstores, art galleries, a chapel and a restaurant, where attendees can learn more about Chilean society.
To continue exploring the city, across the site of ISA 16, at the other side of the Alameda, is the Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral, an important place of entertainment and culture in the city. Then you can can continue to the Mapocho River down the José Victorino Lastarria Street, a neighborhood full of pubs and restaurants, plus stores with Chilean Design products, perfect to find a nice souvenir with all richness of Santiago’s culture.
