The ISA 2013 Academic Committee invites you to submit:

  • » Finished academic papers containing original work with concluding results related with Interaction Design;
  • » Resumed academic papers describing previous original works with concluding results related with Interaction Design;

OThe Interaction South America 2013 goals are the following:

  • » To propagate the scientific production of the research groups linked with the schools which have Interaction Design in their teaching schedule;
  • » To provide a haven of thinking about the inherent questions of the Interaction Design Practice;
  • » To deepen the knowledge of the subjects related with the research lines used by the “graduate studies”, including Master’s Program, Ph. D. program, or even Doctoral program, linked with the field;
  • » To stimulate the scientific production in the range of the graduation and graduate studies;
  • » We understand that the internalization of production is imperative for the current year.

Concerning to the academic production internalization

The Interaction South America is establishing itself as a very solid and important event, banked with credibility in this field of Design.

In 2013’s edition the quoted above is even more patent, for the quantity and quality of the invited keynote speakers from many different parts of the world. As much important as bring lecturers of the whole world to know the plural perspectives and which are the global hotspots of modernity is to disseminate our knowledge production in the field of Interaction Design.

The quality of the scientific knowledge presented in the ISA is in permanent striding. But, even considering the high level the event is already in, and constant quest for excellence and aiming to rise up its credibility and scientific quality, there is also the need of improving the production internalization.

We ought to understand that the knowledge, by us, created is locally relevant, it must also be internationally relevant. Nevertheless, for it be possible, it is mandatory to free up our production in a way that the international community be able to have access to it, walking into a publicization and validation based on pairs even stronger than the produced knowledge. By the exposed, the ISA 2013 scientific sessions will only reward as BEST PAPERS the ones written in English.
